German Variegated ivy has a very similar appearance to English ivy, despite not being a true ivy. It is actually more tolerant of the warm and dry conditions than true ivy is. If you keep German ivy in a well-lit spot it will produce yellow daisy-like flowers. It is also a fantastic climber or it can be kept in a hanging basket.
