Biennis Alba is an old-fashioned garden plant that is mostly grown for the silvery-white seed pods, resembling silver dollars. This variety produces lavender to pink flowers and attracts long-tongued bees and butterflies. The seed pods start out flat, circular, and green, but become silvery white and paper-like as they mature, making excellent dried displays.
