Spruce trees make a great accent to existing plants in winter when the other foliage has succumbed to fall, they become a strong focal point in any yard or garden. Growing them requires full sun with well drained soil and average water needs; water regularly; do not overwater. Evergreens are excellent plants for adding structure, color and texture to your yard or garden.
