Heliopsis (False Sunflower)

Picture
Heliopsis are care-free and reliable for their very long season of bloom. Plants form a tall, bushy clump of dark green leaves, bearing branching heads of large, daisy-like flowers from early summer to early fall. Easy and always rewarding. Attractive to butterflies. Deadhead to promote constant summer bloom. They make excellent cut flowers. Tall varieties may require staking. Divide the plants every couple of years to ensure vigor.

"Summer"

Heliopsis, Summer Sun
A beautiful, carefree flower, Summer puts on a show of semi-double, 2-3 inch wide, bright gold flowers all summer long. Their strong stems make them great for cutting. This variety of heliopsis is very heat tolerant.
